Is this a joke, something on BBC1 last night (Motorway Cops) ?
The bit with 2 immigrant women that had stopped in the fast lane of the motorway, 1 of them ran into the path of an oncoming lorry suffering serious injuries (now recovered), the other attacked a police officer, pushing her onto the floor in the middle lane of the motorway (which could have been more serious had their been a vehicle coming), she was arrested and taken to a police station, they spoke to her with little response, at the end of the program when giving the conclusion, it said "at a later court appearance, the woman was charged and sentanced to serve ONE DAY in prison", ONE DAY !!!!, how much did it cost to process all that, take her to court, then put her in prison for ONE DAY, whats the point in that, did it rehabilitate her ???, will she now never attack another police officer for no reason again ??!?!?
If it had of been an English person, I bet the punishment would have more suited the crime !!!!, anyone else see it and what did they think ?
I have just read off someone else, so don’t know if this is fact, but the same woman, on the day she was released from her ONE DAY in prison, stabbed a guy through the heart, killing him of course, jumped off a bridge and broke both her legs and is currently in hospital, classed as clinically insane, god help us

1 day in prison is stupid because of the anxiety that woman caused the motorist that hit her.
I think it was a suicide pact.

I watched that too and I was deeply unsettled by the women running out in front of cars doing 70mp+! My mum watched it and told me to watch it on BBC iPlayer this morning, it obviously has impacted alot of people. I wonder why they did it though as the TV makers never actually said, or the police.

I posted about this too after I found it on BBC website, I hadn’t realised they were illegals until I began getting answers.
I think they must have planned it if they got caught to throw themselves in front of a car so they could get admitted to hospital and then get to stay.

At one time Cops didn’t mind fighting lunatics and criminals because we knew that there would be a very good chance of these people getting a serious punishment. Now I find myself asking "whats the point".

I think they must of been mad, actually mad. Because they didn’t say it was drug abuse. At first I thought they might have been illegal immigrants, and that was why they were acting the way they were. But that wern’t the case.
A friend of mine died almost a year ago, for less a damage in a car accident. I don’t no how they both survived. An got hit by a car, then a lorry. What the heck? Do they have 9 lives.
I don’t think that’s true though about her stabbing someone through the heart. Because if this was true it would have definately been in the news. People like to spread rubbish around though, so don’t believe everything you hear.
I am afraid it is probably true. Up until this year I had not heard of anyone getting 1 day, but I have heard it a few times this year. I guess there are probably some collateral effect of getting a custodial sentence, but I can’t think of any. And the nationality makes no difference.
I couldn’t believe it either …seems you can get away with anything these days.

she should of got at least a year assualt of a police officer and running on the motorway what was going through their head when they were on the motorway they must off had a death wish
