As part of the long awaited “Professionalisation” process, Private Detectives and those choosing a career as a Private Eye anticipate that Licences will be required in the UK from 2012 / 2013 onwards. The SIA have developed an accredited exam for the possible compulsory licensing of the UK’s Private and Public sector investigators. The course is called: EDI Level 3 Professional Investigator Award
